Batik, which has been recognized by UNESCO as Indonesian property has been known and admired throughout the world. Maybe you do not know how on the history of the emergence of batik. Batik originated from the Javanese "Amba" which means writing and "Nitik" which means the point. In other words batik means writing or painting with dots. In the beginning around the early 17th century, the people of Indonesia, especially Java, batik making on palm leaves and motives only rotates between animals or plants.
